2008 Annual Seminar & General Meeting
Seminar 2008 will be an informative and important event for everyone to attend. It will be held on Sunday, August 24th and Monday, August 25th at the Rajka Kupesic School of Classical Ballet, 215 Trader’s Blvd. E., Unit 10, Mississauga, Ontario. Seminar Topics and Discussions
This year a large focus will be a detailed discussion of the revisions to the syllabus that will come into effect on August 24, 2008.
Each day will contain a mock exam where teachers will act both as examiners and writers. Experiencing the examination process from the point of view of the examiner and the writers can be very helpful to teachers when creating their examination material. One day will feature the set material from the lower levels. The second will feature exam material above Level Five.
We will also discuss artistic and structural considerations in the creation of examination centre work and enchaînement for Levels Five and above. We hope that this will assist you in creating material that is both artistically stimulating for students and effective for examination purposes.
